Admission Process – Paramedical Courses

SCPM College of Nursing & Paramedical Sciences offers both Degree and Diploma courses in various paramedical fields. The admission process is designed to ensure transparency and merit-based selection.

1. Admission to Paramedical Degree Courses

(Under Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University – ABVMU)

Courses Offered (Degree Level):

• B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT)

• B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT)

• B.Sc. in Radiological Imaging Techniques (BRIT)

• B.Sc. in Optometry

• Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT)
  (Other relevant paramedical degrees as applicable)

Admission Criteria:

• Eligibility:

  • Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) from a recognized board.

  • Minimum aggregate marks as per ABVMU norms.

• Selection Process:

  • Admission is strictly based on the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by
    Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow (ABVMU).

• Application Process:

  1. Apply online through the official website of ABVMU – https://abvmuup.edu.in

  2. Fill the form for CET (Paramedical UG Courses).

  3. Appear in the entrance exam and secure merit rank.

  4. Participate in ABVMU counselling for seat allotment.

  5. Select SCPM College during counselling for desired course.

2. Admission to Paramedical Diploma Courses

(Approved by U.P. State Medical Faculty)

Courses Offered (Diploma Level):

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)

• Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT)

• Diploma in X-Ray (D.xray )

• Diploma in Physiotherapy (DPT)
   (Other diploma programs as per offering)

Admission Criteria:

• Eligibility:

  • Passed 10+2 with PCB or PCM from a recognized board.

• Selection Process:

  • Admission is based on Entrance Exam conducted by SCPM College.

  • Merit list is prepared based on performance in entrance and academic records.

• Application Process:

  1. Obtain the application form from college campus or download from official website.

  2. Submit filled form along with required documents before the last date.

  3. Appear in the College Entrance Test (offline).

  4. Final selection based on merit & seat availability.
